Magnesium spray has been used for muscle aches/pains as well as potentially improving sleep. From personal experience I put a little on my tootsies every night and it may be a placebo but I feel like it helps me sleep. Use as much or as little as you want or need, there is not maximum amount of topical magnesium (vs a max of 400mg orally daily).
